The Loudest Silence

Today, my song is The Loudest Silence. It seems like a paradox. And it made me think about many things on philosophical theories.

Recently, I just  have a long conversation with one of our professors from DT about meditation. He told me when he took the meditation course his teacher told him he can do meditation anywhere anytime even though a place full of noise. Because we should put aside our prejudice on our surroundings. So there is no so called 'noise', it is just sound. The professor's words just came to my mind when I do my mind map.

So I want to talk about the sound that we call it noise in our city. There are just so many noises today in our city. Whistle from police car, sound from trains, loud music from stores... But actually, this kind of sounds are not noise, it definitely are the silence in our city. Because these are just part of our city. People are used to doing their own things with these sound without any disturb. So I try to collect some of these silence at many places in our city. I record the loud sound in subway, the cheers from the crowd on street, even the music from my neighbor's party. I just want to record these experiment music to tell people that this kind of sounds are not noise, in fact these sounds are the loudest silence in our city.

Today's song:
